BT-1 Balanced mechanical seals
DIN 24960
By installing a case on the shaft in the seal location, or by having a shaft outpur with a different diameter in the seal location, the resulting seal design uses the pressure of the substance to balance forces on the sealing surfaces of the mechanical seal.
Thus, a trouble-free and durable operation of the mechanical seal is ensured at a pressure of up to 25 bars and a speed of up to 20 m/s (the highest ""DC"" value).
The sealing face combination is selected in accordance with the substance used and operating conditions.
The secondary seal is made of O-rings having a quality grade consistent with the substance.
The other elements of the seal are made of nickel chrome steel.
Analog:
AESSEAL T01DB, Burgmann H12N, Hecker HN 430N
Sealing face materials:
carbographite
chromiium steel
nickel chrome steel
Increased rigidity nickel chrome steel
tungsten carbide
