HS Hydraulic stem seals

HS-TSS

Description:

Seal type TSS consists of two rings. A ring made of PTFE material filled with bronze is a dynamic part, and an o-ring playing the role of an activator is the static part.

Technical specifications:

Pressure: < 600 bar.

Speed: < 15 m/s.

Temperature: from -30В°C to +100В°C - for the standard type of o-ring made of NBR material, with short-term peak values up to +120В°C. For a different temperature range, an o-ring of appropriate (excellent) material.

Material:

Name: PTFE, filled with bronze, for a standard type, and an o-ring made of NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber).

Material code: TN.

Installation:

Seals made of PTFE material require special precautions when installing in comparison with other types. It is necessary to observe the permissible value of surface roughness (grinding of the landing groove). It is recommended to perform the installation in the following sequence:

place the o-ring in the seat;

insert a ring from PTFE using special tools.

(see Figure 9, page 1.2.15).
